Future Sheetz – Suffolk, Virginia

This is the future Sheetz store at 1517 Holland Rd, Suffolk, VA.

This store is part of Sheetz’ entry into the Hampton Roads region of Virginia… which Sheetz has been notably absent from, despite large growth across the state. What’s interesting to me is that there has been a lot of media attention surrounding the other three planned stores (Gloucester, Smithfield, and Yorktown), but aside from the construction sign and the design of the building being very standard architecture for a Sheetz, you probably wouldn’t know it.

It’s also interesting to me because the first Sheetz that was announced in Hampton Roads was the store in Gloucester back in July 2025, however, I don’t believe that store has begun any sort of construction, and neither have any of the other stores. This store is sprouting like a weed, and looks like it may be done and open in a couple of months.

Either way, I am excited that I will finally be able to #FeelTheLove in Hampton Roads!
